Patch From Konami on 31 August 2007

This patch seems to primarily add more content for upcoming npcs and shops.

In particular three cards have been added

Kaibaman in particular is a card made for Seto Kaiba and his Blue-eyes white dragons.

-Further npc quotes have been added for in-duel commentary, demonstrating that Konami will have a wide range of decks for its bots.
-Extra images of playing character with the white uniforms animations have been added, so using them walking around is now possible. Im guessing these will be available from the shops, probably along with the cyclone black disk judging from the shop buy buttons.
These animations are referred to in the code as ‘chibi’; which I think means ‘small’ or ‘child’ in japanese. (Just another example of untranslated language, like in your profile directory there is a file called ‘kaban’, or ‘suitcase’ in japanese – it defines what decks you have out)

-Lastly the script for shops has been better defined, confirming that the currency will be mp. In places in the code MP=mileage points; maybe there will be new ways to earn it ?

Duel Disk – Revised

In Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE 2 there are now 16 Duel Disks (Domino Battle City Duel Disk 8 and Academy Duel Disk 8). Duel Disks are an Avatar part that you can’t trade to receive, but they have to be earned by satisfying different conditions.
Any Duel Disks that you do own can be placed on the shelf in Your room. The Disk you select will then appear on the screen when you are duelling.

Domino Battle City Duel Disks :

Battle City Model

A Next-Gen Duel Disk developed by the Kaiba Corporation. Became the official Tournament Duel Disk at the Battle City Tournament.
(Received from the start)

Battle City Black

A prize for the “TP Ranking” high achievers. Like a black belt, this Duel disk is the sign of an expert Duelist.
(Received after achieving 500 Tournament Points or more at the end of any season)

Battle City Red

A Duel Disk which was presented to all CHAMPIONSHIP. What a Glorious shade of Red!
(Received after competing in YU-GI-OH Online Championship Spring 2007)

Battle City Blue

A Duel Disk which was presented to all CHAMPIONSHIP Participants. Comes in a very cool shade of blue!

Battle City Yellow

Comes in a finish fit for any Egyptian God. Certainly makes you look the part!

Blade

This Duel Disk was developed as the successor to the “Battle City Model”. As it is much larger in size, it can switch to stand-by mode.
(Not released in game yet)

Blade Gold

A Duel disk awarded only to the CHAMPIONSHIP winner. It is the sign of a true Champion.
(Received only by the winner in YU-GI-OH Online Championships)

Blade Silver

A Prize exclusive to YOC FINALISTS. Comes in a very classy silver finish. Just like its owner.
(Receive by the Qualifiers in YU-GI-OH Online Championship) (Top 16)

Blade Black

The Battle City a model now available in Black. A Duel disk for the sophisticated.
(Not released in game yet)

Duel Academy Duel Disks :

Duel Academy Model

The Official Duel Disk at the Duel Academy. Can swicth between Duel and Standby Modes.

Academy Black

A prize for the “TP Ranking” high achievers. This is something you can really show off to your classmates!

A Duel Disk which was developed as the successor to the “Academy Model”. Has a sensor that lights up and rotates during Duel Mode which is where its name comes from.

The Winner’s Prize from CHAMPIONSHIP .Having one is a true honour and privilege above all others.

Cyclone Silver

A Prize exclusive to YOC FINALISTS. The Silver Finish is a perfect compliment for the bright lights of the Cyclone Duel Disk.

It’s a Future Structure Deck no one know a release date, Maybe you can buy it in Card Shop or coming with Duel Pass/NPC.Their name and description appear in Data, Top Rate GS Strike Ninja coming with it also.We need to wait and see Konami will release All this Structure Deck or not.

Now since Konami release NPC This Structure Deck maybe an NPC Deck Recipe.

More possible NPC awards

As was mentioned in an earlier article here https://duelevolution.wordpress.com/2007/08/17/patch-from-konami-on-17-august-2007/#comments  it is speculated that NPC duel will award cards.

However a new quote has appeared which mentions this:
“Oh Yeah! Do you have this tracksuit? I asked Miss Dorothy at the store and she told me that they are always sold out… Do you wan’t it? I’m sorry, but it’s my spare. I hope you don’t mind. No don’t worry about it. It’s only for girls though!”

This was probably added with the new academy store npc shown below.
